Pac-10 Day

Today is the day Scott and I have been looking forward to since the beginning of January. The first day of football season - college football season, to be exact. Oregon and Arizona football to be even more specific. Scott is a University of Oregon Duck, and I am a proud University of Arizona Wildcat. I always remind him of how lucky he is to be married to someone who loves football as much as he does and will happily watch SportsCenter into the wee hours of the morning. We go together like peanut butter and jelly. Except when the Ducks play the Wildcats. Then we aren't capable of being friends until after the game, and until after the sting of losing has worn off for the other person. (We're both pretty competitive, even about things we can't control like our alma mater's sports prowess.)
We have lots of kids clothes from both schools to make sure that they have a balanced wardrobe and aren't too biased one way of the other. Sadly, the U of A game isn't on tv today, but I still had Pumpkin decked out in his Arizona t-shirt. And Mister was in the colors, if not the actual U of A paraphanelia. But since the Duck game is about to start, we made the switch for Pumpkin into the green and yellow of the Oregon Ducks. Mister doesn't have any Duck gear in his size (but thanks to Uncle Kiel and Auntie Lauren he has plenty of Wildcat gear), so he's still in Mommy's colors. :)
The two Ducks

This is a cute little video I got of Pumpkin trying to get his toy. He hasn't figured out the crawling thing yet, but he seems like he's getting interested.

I love the face plant! He's getting there, then he'll be crawling around getting into everything before you know it.

Haha this is the 2nd blog today I've read about football season starting. Sounds like fun! And I love the picture of Pumpkin pushing himself up. Preston hates tummytime and I can't wait for to do what Pumpkin was doing in that picture. Someday.

And its totaly okay about the WL competition, you are way ahead of all of us. It is too bad we couldn't have done this months ago right when you were losing all of your weight. You would have kicked our bootay's! But you are my inspiration - I'll tell ya that!
