Job Update
There hasn't been much to report on the job hunt lately, so we haven't updated the blog about it. Scott does have an interview set up for Monday though, with a company that he could really excel at. He had a phone interview with the General Manager and the guy in charge of the Latin American division (that Scott would potentially be working in) and it seemed to go really well. The job requires fluency in Spanish and occasional travel to Latin America and since he served his mission in Argentina he feels like he might have a leg-up in that department. They emailed later and asked Scott to come in for another interview on Monday, so we're feeling optimistic. They mentioned that they were interviewing a few other people for the job too, and the competition is pretty stiff, so if you could all keep us in your prayers we'd really appreciate it. The GM hadn't looked at Scott's resume before talking to him on the phone though, and when he emailed afterward (after having had a chance to look at it) he said "If I'd known you were a Duck I'd have hired you on the spot!" We're both hoping that that's a good sign for his chances. But not wanting to put all our eggs in one basket, he's still applying to anything he sees that's related to what he wants to do. We're just casting a wide net, hoping to come up with something great. Please keep us in your prayers. Being out of work is not easy.

Where is his new job location? You guys are still in the Portland/Vancouver area right?
You are in my prayers. I love you!
Love,
Krista
I hope the interview went well. You're in our prayers.
