Airport Trip

Just because we're economizing and don't have money for many extras right now doesn't mean we can't still have fun. This week we took advantage of a break in the rain to head out to the airport with the boys and watch the planes take off and land. Mister LOVES airplanes (maybe a gene he inherited from Uncle Kiel?) and had a great time. We found a spot to park the car that had an area for him to run around away from the road and it was right up against the runways. We all had a great time together. :)

Mister was so excited about the airplanes the he darted out of the car without his jacket. We couldn't convince him to put it on (even though it was breezy and chilly right by the river) but he didn't seem to be too bothered by it. But after we got in the car he liked warming up under his blankie. :)

Mister had his own little plane that he was using to pretend he was taking off and landing. It was cute to watch.

Scott was a good daddy and covered Pumpkin's ears when it got too loud.

My 3 favorite guys in the whole world:

Looks like so much fun. We've been meaning to go do that, but never have.

What a cute idea?!? I'll have to copy it, when Grant and I become three and we're up visiting the grandparents. (No worries, we'll let you know when that's actually a possibility!)

I sure miss being your visiting teacher! Those are some treasured memories.
