Pumpkin Patch Fun

Our annual trip to the pumpkin patch is my favorite family tradition. I was especially excited for it this year since it was our Pumpkin's first time. We managed to luck out with the weather and enjoyed a completely dry visit! Not something to be taken for granted in this part of the country. Pumpkin wasn't too impressed with the pumpkins the way Mister was when he was the same age. Mister thought they were the coolest things he'd ever seen. Pumpkin thought the dirty, damp hay next to the pumpkins was the most interesting part. You can see in one of the pictures that we surrounded him with pumpkins to try to prevent him from eating the hay, but he just pushed them out of the way and went for it anyway. Determined little guy.

Trying to get a good picture of all 3 of my favorite guys wasn't easy. Scott just sat there and smiled so he'd always be ready, but every time Pumpkin was smiling Mister was looking away. And every time Mister was smiling, Pumpkin was distracted by something else. Go figure. This is the best we could do.

Just a few pictures of me at the pumpkin patch. I don't get pictures of myself very often because I'm usually the one behind the camera. I don't want to sound conceited, but I like the way they turned out.

And finally, the obligatory family picture. Self picture. Yeah, you can see how well that, combined with the task of getting all of us to smile at the camera worked out for us. :) Oh well, I still think it's cute anyway.

How cute! What a fun family trip. I'm hoping we can make it to a pumpkin patch this year too. Keep your fingers crossed for us.

Gorgeous pics of you! I know the feeling of always being behind the camera. It took getting a new camera for Seth to even think about taking pictures. Funny 'cuz he's the one who has taken photography classes...
