I haven't picked up my camera in a few weeks but tonight I finally got it out when we were playing in the yard. Mister had a yellow gumball that he sucked all the sugary coating off. He also had fun playing pretend with his blankie. He kept calling it his cape and wrapping it around him then popping out saying "Abracadabra!" It was pretty funny. I have no idea where he comes up with his pretend games, but today he wanted to play "dragons and dinosaurs". He explained the rules to me: I was the dragon and had to catch him (the dinosaur) when he came near me. What was Pumpkin then? Mister decided that he didn't count since he is a baby and so he didn't get to be any special animal, but at least Mister let him play too without complaint. That's a victory around here. :) I got to sit down while playing this game since I still don't feel up to chasing around the house yet. But basically he wanted to come close, have me catch him then tickle him. After playing for a little while he decided I wasn't being convincing enough as a dragon so he started telling me what faces to make, what to do with my hands and even how to breathe fire at him. It was pretty entertaining actually. He's a very imaginative kid.
"Abracadabra!"

Thanks again to everyone who has made my recovery go so much easier. Bringing our family dinners, watching the boys so I can rest, making grocery store runs, bringing me books to read, Fandango gift certificates (so excited to use that, btw) or cookies to cheer me up. You are all wonderful and I am so blessed to have people like you in my life!

Marissa--You've been in our thoughts and prayers. I'm glad that you're starting to feel better.
We play dragon all the time! We don't play dinosaurs though, we just really like dinosaur books. Glad you're playing in the yard and getting better.
The boys are so cute and I just want to squeeze both of them. Hope you just keep feeling better each day! Love You Guys!!! xoxoxo
