This week we spent a few days visiting Scott's sister and her family in Idaho. We always enjoy our trips to their house. They are such awesome people to be around and you can't help feeling good when you're with them. It was a very fun and productive trip. Scott helped Aries with installing the floor in their new house they're building and I helped Elizabeth can a ton of peaches. I've never done real canning before - all my canning is cheater canning (freezer jam). She sent us home with tons of canned peaches and canned peach jam. More than enough payment for my help! Plus, I have a thing with peeling (I love picking at and peeling things for some reason) so I loved peeling all the peaches for her. :) But, seeing how busy they are building their dream house and picking out every tiny detail makes me not want to do that. Scott's dream is to buy a piece of property someday and build our dream house on it. I personally, would rather just find one I love that's already done and buy it. I'm not into picking out the knobs for drawers, paint colors, wayscotting (sp) types, which light fixtures go best with the room, which faucets I like best, toilets, showerheads, cabinets, etc. It's so much work and I know Liz and Aries will be so happy when their house is finally done! :) I don't know how they're doing that on top of keeping up with the demands of their six children. I'm in awe.
Of course Mister had so much fun with all his cousins. He enjoyed playing out on the trampoline and just running around causing mischief with the other boys. Pumpkin discovered a new love while we were there: the bouncy toy. I don't know the real name of it, but it was his favorite thing and got so into it! I'm sad we don't have one here for him, but he's got plenty of other toys to entertain, so I guess we'll just make do. But I had to include this adorable video so you could see how much he loved it.
Here's a video of Mister and his cousin getting into his Auntie Liz's kitchen and making his own fun. He's very creative... :) He has such a funny personality - he really makes me laugh so hard sometimes.
Pumpkin's first time on a swing. Think he liked it? :)

It was a week of firsts. He also liked being bounced (gently) on the trampoline by his daddy.

Mister also loves the trampoline. I love that it's in-ground so I don't have to worry about him falling off of it or anything.

He's over gentle bouncing. He was going at it full-force this week!

This had to be the highlight of the trip for him though. Auntie Liz took Mister for a tractor ride while she was mowing the lawn one day. He was so sad when it was over but talked about how he enjoyed his tractor ride for the rest of the day. Thanks Liz!
