Marissa's Bucket List

I watched the movie "The Bucket List" about a month ago and I've been thinking about my own list of things I'd like to do, places I'd like to visit, and other things I'd like to accomplish in this life. For those who haven't seen the movie, it's about a list of things a person would like to do before they kick the bucket. So here is my Bucket List so far.

- Stay married for eternity
- Have one more child
- Pay off our home and live debt free
- Send our sons on missions
- Serve a couples mission later in life
- Provide a college education for our children
- Learn to read music and play an instrument (or two)
- Live abroad again
- Be better about staying in touch with people who don't live close to me anymore
- Visit as many temples as possible
- Go on a church history trip around the country
- Explore the USA's historical places like Jamestown, Williamsburg, DC, the Freedom Trail, Gettysburg, etc.
- Take a Norwegian cruise
- See the Northern Lights
- Dance the tango in Argentina
- Go on a safari (African and Polar Bear)
- Take a river cruise in Europe
- See the Masters in person (golf, for those who don't know)
- Golf at the Old Course at St. Andrews in Scotland
- See an Olympics opening ceremony in person (preferably the Winter Olympics)
- Get really fit
- Run 5 miles at a time, comfortably
- Go dog sledding
- Own a German Shepherd
- Vacation on a dude ranch
- Go snowshoeing at midnight
- Go night skiing
- Teach our kids to ski at an early age (Mister will be starting this winter!)
- Take a horse-drawn sleigh ride in the snow
- Visit as many WorldMark resorts as possible
- Go to a cheese festival (I LOVE CHEESE!)
- Stay in the Ice Hotel
- Walk on the Great Wall of China
- Visit the Grand Canyon
- Attend the Kentucky Derby (so I can wear a pretty dress with a big hat)

I'm sure I'll continue to add to this list as life goes on, but this is what I've come up with so far. And all of this is in addition to the very obvious goal of getting Scott a job again and getting him through grad school. But that goes without saying right? What are some things on your bucket list?

What a fun list! What is the Ice hotel? I would love to do a list like this sometime on my blog...maybe sometime soon!

I think a safari would be awesome! I know I want to take all my kids to Europe for a summer when they are older. It would be so fun!!!

You are great!

The Ice Hotel is a hotel made completely of ice in northern Sweden. I've only heard great things about it and would love to stay there sometime. :)
