Prayers Please
Hi everyone. You all know that Scott lost his job a while back. He has been applying and submitting applications left and right but so far, nothing has come up. Today he is heading down to Eugene to go to a career fair at the U of O. No, we're not moving back to Eugene, but many of the big companies from up here go down to Eugene for the career fair. Since getting to talk to someone (either on the phone or in person) is so difficult, we both feel like this is a great opportunity for him to talk to all these great companies face to face and hopefully set up interviews for tomorrow's Interview Day at the fair. Please pray for us that he'll be able to get a job soon. We have been so blessed to have so many friends and family helping us out with odd jobs to earn a little income, grocery and Costco trips, etc. We have the best family and friends around! But even though we have a wonderful support network here, but it's been a frustrating few months for us and we'd like nothing more right now than the stability of a job again. He's going to the career fair all the way in Eugene, but has to be back tonight for his 6:00 MBA class (hopefully not getting stuck in the rush hour traffic), then if he gets an interview he'll be going back to Eugene tomorrow as well. Please wish us luck and keep us in your prayers. Thanks!

I'll keep you guys in my prayers today. good luck scott. I know this economy is so hard right now - will has taken a 30% paycut this year. and most everyone else in his department was laid off.
You are and have been in our prayers. I feel for you. It is so hard. Jacob has been laid off for over a month and it seems like much longer. Take care of you.
I can totally empathize with what you are going through. We were unemployed for over two years back in 2002-04. We made it through but it was so stressfull. In this economy I worry everyday about being in that same situation again. Our prayers are with you.
I feel for you guys. It must be so stressful not knowing when Scott will get a job. Thank goodness for family and friends.
We'll keep you guys in our prayers.
You're always on our mind and we wish you the best.
Hoping for the best for you guys! You deserve the blessings!
I know, we know many people, including ourselves, who've been affected by the economy crash. Scott is so smart and talented, it won't be long at all for you guys. We'll include you in our prayers!
