Christmas day was a fun day. We had Janice's wonderful pineapple keuken (sp?) which is a Dutch filled pastry that she makes every Christmas. Pumpkin couldn't wait, he was too hungry, so we gave him a nutri-grain bar to hold him over - you can tell hi liked it. :) After opening his first present (which was a red remote-control car) Mister was so excited that we had a hard time convincing him to come open the rest of his presents. He went and cried to his Nana because we were trying to force it and he didn't want anything to do with the rest of the presents. He came around eventually though, we just had to let him go at his own pace.
Pumpkin got so tired after a long morning of presents that he started to lose it. I love this picture of him hanging on Scott's pants crying and trying to get his attention. "Just put me down for a nap!" he screams.
Mister cuddling a teddy bear he got in his stocking:

After we all got dressed and after Pumpkin woke up from his nap it was time for family pictures:

Scott skipped out to go in the hot tub so he's missing in these pictures, unfortunately.

Later that evening we all gathered round the X-box to play a karaoke game. Mister was completely fascinated by it and eventually got up the courage to participate himself. Scott helped him at first, but then he wanted the mic all to himself.

This is what Pumpkin thought of the whole thing. He doesn't like loud noises and this definitely qualified....

We had such a great time with Scott's family, we love them so much and are so blessed to be a part of that family. Thanks for having us for such a long visit! We miss you already. :)
