Smarty Pants
Mister got the game "Candyland" for his birthday, which he now considers to be the most fun game in the world. If you've never played it before, you have gingerbread men for game pieces and you draw cards with either one or two colored squares on them to see how far to move forward on the board. Not hard at all if you know your basic colors. Mister thinks this is such a fun game and asks me to play it at least 4 times a day now. Last night we were playing and I drew a card with 2 yellow squares on it and moved my gingerbread man forward to the corresponding spot and Mister squealed with delight: "Mommy, I'm so proud of you, you're so smart!" I got a kick out of that. He's a pro (though he likes to try and cheat a bit if he thinks I'm not looking by moving forward an extra square or two), but apparently he thinks it's challenging for me.... I love how supportive he is cheering me on when I get something right. :)

I really love how you explain the game of Candyland for anyone who "doesn't know". :) Who doesn't know Candyland?!?! It's a CLASSIC!
My sibs and I went as the characters for Halloween one year and we got a LOT of candy! :) Too bad we've already picked what we're going to be next year or we may have to rekindle that idea!
Yes, our kids can still teach us a thing or two! Such fun with Mister.
Oh my goodness!!!! He is so funny and sweet.
Your little guys are so cute!!! That's so fun that he thinks to compliment you on being smart. It's always good when your kids tell you that huh!! It's so fun to read about your little family. I look forward to the days with playing candyland with my little guy as well.
