Last night I had a really fun girl's night out with my friend Jami, thanks to a few contributing factors. First, my mom had reserved Friday night to have Mister over for a sleepover which she'd been wanting to do for a while. Then, Scott offered to let me go out on my own for the evening since Mister would be away and he'd missed spending time with Pumpkin so much all week. Pumpkin is REALLY attached to Scott and cries so hard every time he leaves for work and practically jumps out of his skin with excitement when he walks in the door every evening. It's really hard to see him so sad when Scott leaves but such a joy to see him so happy whenever he comes home. :)
So off I went with my friend Jami to eat out at Red Robin and catch the evening showing of "Confessions of a Shopaholic". I'm normally the kind of person that orders the same favorites every time I go out to eat. I always get their Whiskey River BBQ Burger, but last night I felt like branching out. I remembered my sister-in-law Lauren saying that her favorite Red Robin burger is the Bleu Ribbon burger so I decided to give that one a try. OH. MY. GOSH! It was DIVINE! I love, love, love bleu cheese and this burger really hit the spot. Thanks Lauren for giving me that idea. Combine that wonderful deliciousness with the fact that I had a $3 off coupon and a free drink coupon that I'd received in the mail and that makes for one inexpensive indulgence dinner.
After dinner we went to the movie and it was sooooooo cute and funny! I thought it was going to be a total chick flick (which is why I went to see it with Jami instead of dragging Scott with me) but I actually think guys would enjoy it too. It's really clean and makes you feel good after you watch it (and makes you want to avoid credit-card debt like the plague). I highly recommend it to anyone who wants a fun, uplifing movie.
So thanks to Scott and Mom for making my fun night out possible and thanks to Jami for being such a great friend and sharing a night out with me!

It was JUST what I needed! I had so much fun!!!!
That sounds like so much fun! Man...made me just realize it has been forever since I've gone to the movie theater.
The is Will's favorite RR hamburger, but I've never tried it. Now I want to!
I was my pleasure to have Mister spend the night. We create such incredible memories together!
Oh Blue Ribbon burger how I love thee... and the BIG secret? For $.50 extra, you can substitute the parm/garlic fries for the regular ones- bottomless too! Gordon Biersch has NOTHING on them!!!
Love a good GNO! I wish I could have been there too!
