I'm feeling pretty out of it right now, but I just wanted to thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers over these past few days. They have been scary, stressful and painful but I'm home again and I'm doing fine.
For those who don't know, I was expecting a baby (I was 8 weeks along) when I felt a sharp pain in my abdomen on Wednesday morning. I had already been in to see the doctor a few times due to bleeding and thinking that I was having (another) miscarriage, but the doctor told me to come to the ER if I felt any pain (which I hadn't so far). So I went in on Wednesday morning after experiencing some searing pains in my abdomen and learned that I had an ectopic (tubal) pregnancy that had ruptured and I was bleeding internally. I had emergency surgery and had it all taken care of. But now I'm sore and out-of-it. I just really wanted to thank everyone for their concern and their prayers. It's been such a blessing to have so much support these past few days.
If you're interested I'll post the whole story another day, but for now I'm going to go relax. Thank goodness for modern medicine - the doctor said I would've died from this if it'd been a different era.

I'm so happy you are safe and back home with your family. We were so worried about you, and you had SO many thoughts and prayers sent out West since yesterday!
I was on the phone with my mom nonstop having her reassure us that you were going to be okay and talk us through what went on with the surgery. Whew!
I'm so glad to hear you're home and safe. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
Take it easy and feel better.

No matter what is said about doctors/healthcare etc, I'm sure glad they can do all the things they can! Get better soon.
Marissa!! I've been thinking about you. My mom told me what happened and I almost called you right then and there to see if you were okay, but I figured you had a lot on your plate! I've been praying for you and love you so much. You're strong and remember there is a reason for this...whatever it may be, it will be clear to you one day. You are a strong amazing woman of light and I love you!
We are so thankful that you are doing okay. Praise God for keeping you safe! We Love You so much & will be praying for strength each day for you!!!
