Beverly Hills of the Northwest

A few weeks ago Mister said something pretty cute but for some reason I just never put it up here. So here we go.

We were driving to my friend Lisa's house for a playdate a few weeks ago. They live across the metro area in one of the ritzier suburbs, so when we got there Mister stared wide-eyed at the beautiful lamp posts and hanging flower baskets lining the street and asked (with wonder and reverence in his voice):

Mister: "Mommy, what is this place?"
Mommy: "It's T......."
Mister: "It's so beautiful. It's like Beverly Hills!"

I burst out laughing at that. Yes the town is nice, but not quite Beverly Hills. He's been watching "Beverly Hills Chihuahua" over and over lately though, so that's what he thought it looked like. I thought it was pretty funny. :)

That is so precious. It amazing how much he remembers. And the association he makes is quite remarkable. I love watching Mister grow!

So funny, even though I had already heard it! If only we could afford to live in Beverly Hills - lol :)

That is so cute. Kids say the cutest things. When we were first moving to Idaho we were watching Enchanted, and when she came out of the man hole and looked at New York my nephew said, "is that Idaho". It was so so cute.
