Mister's First Ski Trip

Last Friday Scott and I took Mister up the mountain for his first ski trip. We were so excited to share one of our favorite pastimes with him. It's so exciting that he's getting to an age where he can really start participating in family activities. We picked the perfect day to introduce him to the world of skiing. It was gorgeous and sunny, a warm 38 degrees and absolutely no wind. We couldn't believe our luck! Skiing in early February in the northwest is RARELY that nice! :) We spent the whole day on the bunny slopes, but Mister did really well for his first time. After a few tries he zoomed down the little run all by himself. He thought that was super fun and did it a few more times on his own. However, it only took one good crash to strip his confidence and he didn't repeat that feat for the rest of the day. He did get his confidence back up eventually and we ended on a really positive note though. He is really excited about going back again soon. :) Unfortunately I didn't get any action shots because I didn't want to bring my camera up on the mountain with me. It was so mellow though that I definitely will next time.
