Easter Sunday was very nice. We had dinner at my parents' house with them, David, Amanda, Olivia and some other friends Ron, Debbie, Chris and little Lulu (who were in town for the weekend). Mister must have a thing for girls because he was stuck to Lulu's side on Sunday. They were so cute together. Mister even volunteered to say the prayer before dinner and he did an amazing job. Seriously, it was his best prayer ever and he barely needed any help at all. I think a child's prayer is one of the sweetest things in the whole world.
And of course I couldn't let Olivia leave without doing a little mini photo session. She's seriously SO darling! Mister kept following me around the whole time asking if I would take his picture too. He's my cooperative one (well, actually he just likes the bribes I usually give him to smile nicely - but this time he volunteered on his own). Pumpkin is the one who can be playing and having the best time ever but the minute I pull out my camera he immediately starts to frown. Not a fan, clearly. I need to get a longer zoom lens so I can take pictures of him from farther away and capture his true nature. He's really a happy boy. You just can't tell from the pictures because he rarely smiles for the camera.
Here are some pictures from the weekend. Enjoy! :)
This is how Pumpkin ususally feels about having his picture taken....
But here we have an elusive smile!

Mister and me before Easter dinner
Mister wrangled Pumpkin into a quick hug for the camera. You can see Pumpkin was less than cooperative.
I just can't believe how grown up he's getting. It's going by too fast!!!
Beautiful little Olivia
Mister was completely smitten.

Happy 1st Easter Olivia!
Can you see the family resemblance?! Hehe, she's just too precious!
The Easter table: Mom always goes all-out for holidays.
Cutest tablescape (as Sandra Lee would call it)
We all had our own individual favor boxes filled with goodies on our plates. :)

oh wow, your table setting is so fabulous. Very nice! Such cute photos too. I'm so glad you had a nice Easter!
I had such a wondeful time with my family members who were present...especially my three grandbabies. (And I dearly missed those who were not in town) The food, company and love shared by all was precious. Thank you for sharing your terrific photos. Can't wait for more holidays and celebrations as always. Love you all.
All the pictures of the kids are fabulous. You did a great job taking pictures of Olivia. I can't wait to get copies of them. That picture of me, however, truly shows that I haven't had a decent night sleep in at least 20 months!! Sleep training, here.we.come.
We had a great time catching up with you all as well. Can't wait to see you guys again!
XOXOXOXO
