Getting Out
We have been enjoying some pretty amazing weather here (well, off and on...) for the past week or so. We like to take the boys to some of our favorite walking/hiking trails around the area when it's nice out so we've done a fair bit of that lately. I was especially impressed with Mister and Pumpkin last week - we went on a 2+ mile hike, through bushes and over uneven terrain, and they didn't whine or complain once. This was a first for our family. Someone is always complaining that they're tired, they don't want to walk anymore, I'm hungry, I'm thirsty, I want to go home, etc. Not this time. They were such troopers, I was so proud of them. And Baby Bear sat happily (and even took a brief nap) in his ergo carrier for the entire time - not a single squak out of him. :) They slipped, they got a bit muddy, they threw rocks into the creeks we passed and they raced each other all over the place. I think Pumpkin picked every single dandelion he passed so he could blow it and scatter it in the breeze. I'm so looking forward to a consistent return of this amazing weather. Those precious, glorious days that make up for the other 9 months of the year when it's gray and rainy.

Being outdoors with the boys is always going to be an adventure. Glad it is a nice adventure though! Can't wait to spend more time with the boys outdoors this summer.
Such special memories. And the pictures are amazing. Good times.
