My Day

Ok, so today wasn't a day where anything earth-shattering happened. We woke up early, I watched my friend's little girl while she went to work, and put the boys to bed early. However, I did manage to capture some "shots in the life" today. Nothing spectacular, but I thought I'd share anyway. I always think my boys are precious, so it's never overkill for me..... :)
Here's how the morning started: Mister managed to scale the pantry shelves to pilfer a cookie for breakfast. His tantrum was so long that I had time to get my camera and catch this shot before it ended. And it went on for a while after this too..... Haha. This was his reaction when I told him that he couldn't eat cookies for breakfast.
Here is Pumpkin with his friend. She's so petite, it's sometimes hard to believe that he's only 6 days older than her. They played really well together today, it was so cute to watch!
Mister asked me what the box on the wall was. He's never paid much attention to it before, but tonight, for some reason, he was fascinated by it. The previous owners of our house had an alarm system, but we never activated it ourselves, so Mister enjoyed playing with it while I could relax and not worry about him setting it off. He's obviously too short to reach it on his own, but for some reason he thought it was better to stand on the steering wheel of his ride-on car instead of a (more stable) chair. Funny logic, but he didn't fall, so it was ok. :)
We ended the night on a much happier note than we started the day. :)

I love all of these pictures. I cannot believe how your little boys are changing! Little Pumpkin is so precious and I love Mister's tantrum picture. I love that you put in the "haha" after it too.

Marissa- I blog hopped from Jenni's belly diaries...

Your "mister" reminds me of a little man in our house named Ryan. I see that face (in your first pic of him) almost daily (tantrums are fun aren't they?) and Ryan also likes to stand on his cars or toys to reach things. How old is Mister? Our little guy turns 3 in a month.

I love you pics! ~Bobbi :)

Haha sounds like a VERY interesting day. :) Your boys are so cute. I am wondering how he is able to stand on his firetruck car thingie without toppling forward!! It must be weighted pretty well towards the back. Whew!

Marissa,
It is so fun stumbling across blogs of people you know. Your pictures are great and I love your autumn background. I tried to change mine the other day and ended up loosing everything. I was able to reconstruct everything but I think I'll wait for some help before I try that again.

Marissa, I'm laughing so hard I can't stand it. I had JUST finished reading the first paragraph of your blog about "Mister" wanting cookies for breakfast and you not letting him. Now, besides the fact I ate half a pan of brownies for breakfast today, I would normally agree with you and say that's not a good idea and put up with his tantrum.

HOWEVER, while reading this blog I saw a commercial on TV. A commercial selling COOKIES you eat for lunch and BREAKFAST as a method of weight loss! Haha, now I know what to get "Mister" for a Christmas present!!!

I have a picture of Lowden just like the one of Mister at the top. So funny. Glad they grow out of it!
