Booster Seat

Mister has been complaining for the past few weeks that his carseat is getting uncomfortable. Technically it's supposed to fit kids until they weigh 65 lbs, but at 36 lbs it's already causing some discomfort for him. I don't know if it's just him or what, but the seat is kind of shallow (depth-wise) and he's been complaining about the buckle part between his legs..... It kind of cuts into him there when we tighten the straps the way they're supposed to be.... Poor guy. So, after searching for a booster seat for Mister for the past few weeks and reading every review on the different seats we were contemplating, we finally decided on the Recaro Vivo booster seat. At first we loved this one, but ruled it out because of the price ($99!) and were looking for the best we could find closer to the $60 range because we just couldn't squeeze an extra $100 into our monthly budget this month. I was feeling frustrated though, because all the boosters in our price range were pretty skimpy on the padding and seemed like they'd be really uncomfortable. I didn't want to put Mister in a booster seat that would be uncomfortable for him since that's the whole reason we're even looking for a new seat to begin with. So I'd basically resigned myself to the fact that he'd just have to suffer a bit longer so we could save up a little extra to buy the expensive seat next month.
