That evening we went over to my parents' house and had a birthday dinner for my 29th (gasp!) birthday, complete with delicious appetizers to start and a Cold Stone ice cream cake to bring up the rear. So delish! Mister helped me open my presents and of course he wanted to start with the biggest box. After said box was emptied he lost interest in helping me and talked people into pushing him around in his new "car". :) Here are a few pictures from our day:
Scott and the boys: Mister rocking his new "sharky hair" obsession and both sporting Arizona gear. The never wear U of O stuff when I'm the one getting them dressed! :)

My birthday cake: Red velvet cake with cake batter ice cream topped with sprinkles and kit-kats. Mmmmmm.

Mister ready to help me dig in:

Auntie Kristen pushing Mister around the house in his "car": He really warmed up to Auntie Kristen this trip. When we were going to my parents' house for dinner I told him that I loved him and he said: "No, you can't love me. I love Auntie Kristen!" I guess there's not enough love to go around. Funny guy. :)

This was from Friday - Pumpkin is so attached to Scott that if he's around him, he demands to be held by him. He couldn't mow the lawn alone - Pumpkin insisted on going along for the ride. PS: love the socks, honey. Hehe.

Cute post! I'll have to make sure Kiel doesn't see this one... it will remind him his wife COMPLETELY FORGOT about a cake for his 27th!!! Don't ask how, I guess the 1,200 lbs of meat being consumed at Fogo just kind of took over my brain.
I'm glad you guys had such a fun weekend with K&B in town- we can't wait to be up there in September and spend time with the fam!
PS: Scott could put "Pumpkin" in the backpack carrier and get a double workout mowing the lawn!!!
Soooo jealous of the ice cream cake!!! Those are my favorite cakes for birthdays. (Although, I'm partial to the Dairy Queen cakes - probably because we don't have a Dairy Queen around here, and I always want what I can't have.) I hope your great weekend extends through today for your birthday!
We had such a great weekend with everyone and then to cap it off with your birthday dinner! Happy Birthday Marissa! I love you.
